Heat Resistant Stainless Steel
Ashland Foundry manufactures Heat Resistant Components for the following applications:
- Coal fired power plants
- Kilns used in the processing of cement, lime
- Refining of ore, steel, oil, chemicals
- Furnace applications
Oxidation is a problem with ferritic and martensitic steels used in high temperature applications. These lack the appropriate chemistry. Having grown from local coal mining activities, Ashland Foundry is well-respected as a prime source for heat-resistant alloys. We offer Austenitic and Super Austenitic alloys chemistries which are ideal for a myriad of high temperature environments such coal and gas burner nozzles used in power generation plants and kilns. Ashland’s Heat Resistant alloys will resist flaking caused by oxidation which can be accelerated at high temperatures.
One of these alloys is likely ideal for your application depending on application operating temperatures, strength and oxidation-resistance requirements.
